Announcement : Gail Scott’s fall creative writing workshop

This is to say i am doing my not-for-credit creative writing workshop this fall on thursdays at 4 :30. Room # tba. The workshop is open to people who have a fairly serious and Consistent creative writing practice (fiction, poetry, Memoir, cross-genre work). To register, you may write me at gail.scott@umontreal.ca. This workshop is for graduate students. If you have not worked with me before, please include about 2-3 pages of writing. Students who have done undergraduate creative writing courses, students who are self-taught and wish to take my for-credit creative writing seminar after christmas (ang 6896) are encouraged to apply. This is not a class for those needing remedial english. P workshop is open to a limited number of concordia and mcgill students.

The class work is comprised of group critique of writing you bring in, and of writing exercises designed to improve technique and explore new approaches to creation.
